Alrighty, now that I am up on this whole bloggy doohickie, I figure we got to lay down the rules, purely for humourical value:

1)no pooftahs

2)If you are not going to mooch, get out of the car

4)driver has rule over that which is emitted from my P.I.M.P.S. stereo

And now for something completely different: please note that the lip logo is copyright Marian/Logan 2004. Also, the layout (which, granted, is very simple, but took hella CSS twirking) is copyright Marian/Logan 2004. Don't use 'em without permission. However, I'll have some banners/buttons up before the week is out, for anybody who wants to shamelessly plug us.

So, on to what I've done to further the actual trip today. Logan and I have agreed to put any change we collect (through piggy banks and whatnot) into a bank account for gas, beef jerky, licorice allsorts, and whatever other whatnots we seem to need during the trip. We're cheap, so we're using Washington MOOCHtual's free checking. (Sorry, I couldn't help myself there.) I'll be opening a paypal account soon, so that y'all can give us cold hard cash.

Also, Logan and I've been recruiting Moochers. We've asked both Alexis and Sakura; hopefully both of them can make it, because we know that we can stand them for a week or so! And, Alexis has the best hair ever. Seriously, her hair is amazing.

The journey has begun! Today, lounging in the backyard, Logan and I were thinking of what to do for Spring Break next year, as we're both sticking around home this year. We came up with the idea to go to Florida, and mooch off of his family there instead of getting a hotel (with evil teenagers, etc).

Rand McNally says that (with the stops we're hoping to make), the trip is 100 hours of driving. That's like 4 and then some days, if we drive it straight, sleeping as the other drives, etc. I so can't wait to do this, it's going to be killer! Also, we need another driver... if anyone is interested, and has a flexible break, let us know. Our email is mooches@hotmail.com.
